- This article basically explains what globalization is, the history of it, and what affects it has on society. Throughout my paper I am going to talk about the negative side effects that globalization has had on the world.

- Argues that even though globalization has led to a rise in per capita income throughout the world, the disparity between the rich nations and the poor ones has also increased. Makes the argument that developing countries have had to lower their standards so that they don’t risk losing international investments. I am going to use this when I explain how globalization has a negative side effect on the environment.
