Cult Vs Religion

Wikipedia describes a cult as being a group that practices abnormal or bizzar behavior. The actricle explains the history of the cult and how it became part of solciology in 1932. It also includes the studies of cults and how it have affected society.

This site goes through a time line of the Waco massacre, shows pictures, frequently asked questions, and audio tapes.  The site will give me good information on the amount of time it took on this massacre and how the people of Waco responded.

The article from Wikipedia explains what the Branch dividans believe and how they are a religion. I’m using this to show in relation to a Christian religions and other forms or religons and not cults.

This brief article explains the mechanics of Cults. It explains how cults have been more frequent and how in the book there are examples to how they are brought in by cults. I plan on borrowing this book from the library and using it for reference and how certain cults aren’t cults.
