When this class first started I said I had a lot of experience with writing. I was a good writer in middle and high school. I was always getting praised for my essays. That was still very much the case for college as well. But college is definitley a lot harder than high school. College writing is definitley more advanced but I like a challenge. I wanna be a writer my major is journalism and this class is definitley helping me become a better writer. I feel my strengths are coming up with ideas of what to write about and writing a good thesis statement. My weakness is sometimes I have trouble organizing my essays in the correct order. I have always been a great student when it came to getting good grades and doing my work. I went to Grosse Pointe South High School I really enjoyed going to school there I was a very popular student lots of friends. My teachers really loved me because I was a hardworking intelligent student. During high school I was on the honor roll when I was in the 9th and 11th grade I won an award for my ACT scores. I also was one of the four seniors who won the Optimist Award and I won the Principals scholarship. I love to read my favorite authors are L.Divine, Terry McMillian, and Zane. I play the piano and I love music my favorite to play on the piano is Alicia Keys. My favorite TV shows are General Hospital, Sex and the City, Jersey Shore, HBO's Hung and I totally obbessed with True Blood. I hope to soon write my own autobiography along with other books and movies. I would love to write for one of my favorite shows. English 1020 has definitley help prepare me for college writer I will continue to use the Rhetoric appeals, enthymemes I learned in my future writing work.
