1. Wikipedia explains body modification as deliberate altering of the human body for any non-medical reasons. It lists the different kinds of modifications and has links to their pages as well as lists many people famous for the modifications they have done to their body. It has a short section on the controversy the art causes. I will use this in my intro paragraph and when I talk about the controversy around the subject.

7. This is the best article I have found yet. It defines what tattooing actually is and goes on to explain every reason why someone might get a tattoo. It explains that the body is a canvas and a tattoo becomes a part of your body. I will hopefully use this article a lot through out my paper.
